Florida Film Festival 2018 Begins Friday

The 27th year of Oscar®-qualifier, Florida Film Festival, aims to be a “star”-studded event.

“Story-gazing” at Florida Film Festival

Let’s Go Storygazing is the tagline for this year’s festival which features a massive list of events. From the opening night party to a sit-down with Academy award-winning actress, Ellen Burstyn, it’s an event that can’t be missed.

This year’s movie selections include spectacular features such as Hearts Beat Loud, starring Nick Offerman, documentaries like Won’t You Be My Neighbor, in honor of 50 years of Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood, and quirky shorts like Wyrm, directed by Christopher Winterbauer.

The Florida Film Festival site offers a virtual calendar of events. You’ve got no excuse to miss any of them – yes, I’m talking to you filmmakers, screenwriters, and film buffs.

It’s a 10-day event featuring nearly 200 films and a plethora of opportunities to network with industry professionals. If you’re ready to go, there’s plenty of ticket options available.

Keep up with the festival by heading over to Twitter and following the hashtags #FFF2018 and #LetsGoStoryGazing.

It’s a bit late for this year’s festival, but if you’d like to sponsor or volunteer next year, visit their support page.

The 2018 Florida Film Festival is hosted by Enzian Theater in Maitland, Florida.
