First Impressions: Westworld Season 2 Trailer

“Dreams don’t mean anything, Delores.”

Westworld Season 2 Trailer

Beginning with an eerie, dream-like sequence, the new Westworld trailer throws the viewer into emotional uncertainty.

Bernard’s voice carries you into a peculiar conversation with Delores.

He interprets this odd vision, explaining that she and the others are on a distant shore. “Are you with us?” she asks, only to receive a cold:

No.

We’re then catapulted into the current action of the new season. It appears real soldiers have been brought into the park in an effort to clean up the mess.

The shots of the military vehicles chasing something (or someone) are reminiscent of The Lost World: Jurassic Park in more ways than one.

More of our favorite characters are apparently meeting face-to-face and working together.

Shogun World should refresh the pallet and offer new sets and environments in comparison with the western deserts we’ve come to know and love.

There is beauty in what we are.

Season 2 aims to be a journey of self-discovery. Not only that, a commentary on breaking the chains of your oppressor and understanding your worth. It is a culturally relevant piece, and it’s out to wreak havoc on guests and viewers alike.

Can’t wait any longer? Check out the Delos website and immerse yourself further into the world learning more about the company behind the park.

Westworld Season 2 begins April 22nd on HBO.
